Trouble updating ipod touch to 4 3
This is likely the final release for Apple mobile devices that cannot upgrade to i OS 7.
The i OS 6.1.5 release was issued to correct errors that caused Face Time video calls to fail.
That version was the first i Pod touch to sport a four-inch screen like that on the i Phone 5.
Apple continued to sell a 0, 16-gigabyte version of the fourth-generation i Pod touch after it launched the new, larger screened model.
More seriously, the i Pod touch users will miss out on security updates.
Apple released the seventh major version of its i OS mobile operating system in September 2013 for a variety of its mobile devices, but the fourth-generation i Pod is not supported by this new version.
The fourth-generation i Pod has only 256MB of memory, so it cannot support the upgrade to i OS 7.
This hardware requirement makes it unlikely that the fourth-generation i Pod can ever support i OS 7, so the previous version of Apple’s mobile operating is likely its end-of-life version.

Important: Remember to click Check for Update button, and not the Restore i Phone button to avoid accidentally restoring your i Phone and erasing all data on it.
NOTE: Jailbreakers are advised to follow the i Tunes method as OTA updates have known issues with jailbroken i OS devices.
